Application requirements

This program has been tested on RedHat 9, but in theory should work on other Operating Systems like Solaris or other Linux distributions.

Please note than in order to install this software you will need root permissions. Also some you should be familiar with the installation of software like the Sun Java SDK, MySQL, Jakarta Tomcat and RPM applications in general.

• Jakarta Log4J 1.2.6+. Included in the RPM distribution.

• Bash 2.0+

• RPM 4.0.3+ (for RPM install only)

• MySQL 4.0+

• MySQL Jconnect 3.0.6+. Included in the RPM distribution.

• Vixie-Cron (for RPM install only)

• java-getopt 1.0.9+. Included in the RPM distribution.

• Sun JDK 1.5.0

Additionally, the following software is required to compile this application from source:

• Jakarta Ant 1.5.2+

• JUnit 1.3.8+. Included in the RPM distribution.

• Dockbook tools
